Worker’s Compensation and Disability Insurance – What’s the Difference?

Workers’ compensation covers you if you are injured on doing your job. The Workers’ Compensation Act governs the legal issues differently than other areas of tort law. The disability insurance only covers you for injury claims or illness, if the accident happens after you come home, on vacation or at work.
